Butterstick is a free app for keeping a watchlist, seeing where titles stream, and following entertainment news about the things you've saved. By using the app or website, you agree to these terms.

You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in method secure, and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to access other users' data, no scraping at a scale that degrades the service, no impersonation, and no use of Butterstick to harass others (including via usernames, notes, polls, or any shared surface). We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.

Movie and TV metadata, imagery, and ratings are supplied by third parties, primarily The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. News headlines and articles in the Wire belong to their publishers; tapping a story takes you to the publisher's own site. Streaming availability data is provided as-is and can lag reality — always confirm with the streaming service before subscribing to anything.

Notes, lists, and other content you create remain yours. By saving them to Butterstick you give us permission to store and display them back to you (and to others only where the feature is explicitly shared, like a poll you create).

Butterstick is evolving; features may change, be added, or be removed. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or, with reasonable notice where practical, discontinue the service.

Butterstick is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the effective date above and note the change in the app. Questions: hello@butterstick.net.
