Your queue

How do I add something?

Find a title through Search or For You, open it, and tap Add to Queue. It appears at the top of your Queue tab. Drag titles to reorder them, or use the move controls if you prefer not to drag.

Why can't I save anything else?

A free queue holds 20 titles at once. Mark something as watched to free up a slot, remove a title you've lost interest in, or subscribe to Butter for an unlimited queue.

Butter (subscription)

What does it cost and what does it do?

Butter is $2.99 per month. It removes the 20-title cap on your queue. That is the only thing it changes — search, browsing, shared lists, notifications and everything else in Butterstick are free and stay free.

How do I cancel?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Butterstick → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Nothing you saved is ever deleted when a subscription ends — a queue over 20 titles stays fully usable; you just can't add new ones until it's back under the limit.

I paid but it didn't unlock.

Open the upgrade screen and tap Restore purchase. That asks Apple directly what your Apple ID owns. If it still doesn't unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we'll sort it out.

I want a refund.

Purchases go through Apple, not us, so refunds are handled at reportaproblem.apple.com. Email us too and we'll do what we can from our side.

Where to watch

The streaming service shown is wrong.

Availability comes from JustWatch by way of TMDB, and it covers subscription streaming in your region. It can lag a day or two behind a title moving between services. Tell us which title looks wrong and we'll report it upstream.

Can I change which services I see?

Yes — You → Your services. What you pick decides which titles get highlighted as watchable now.

Notifications

I'm not getting alerts.

Check iPhone Settings → Butterstick → Notifications is on, then You → Notifications inside the app. Alerts fire when something in your queue arrives on a service you use.

Account

How do I sign in?

With Sign in with Apple, or an email address and password. There are no usernames.

How do I delete my account?

You → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, your queue, your watched history and your notification tokens. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in iPhone Settings first.

Email hello@butterstick.net with what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot and your iPhone model help more than anything else.
