What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store your email address and the fact that you opted in to marketing. We also log your IP address, user agent, and the referring page solely to filter obvious spam.

What we don't collect

We don't track you across the rest of the internet, and we don't use third-party advertising pixels. The site uses Vercel Analytics, which collects aggregated, anonymous traffic data — no cookies, no cross-site identifiers.

How we use it

Only to send the emails you asked for: product updates, early-access invites, and the occasional team note. We will not sell your email or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until 24 months of no activity, whichever comes first. Unsubscribing removes you from the mailing list immediately; we retain a hashed record of your email only to honour the unsubscribe request going forward.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe at any time by emailing privacy@butterstick.app. We'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we materially change this notice we'll email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect.
